Beneath the Sea 2006 International Photo Competition Results
I got a call about this almost a couple of weeks back, but now the results are finally public. I received a 1st place award in the Underwater Behavior category of the Beneath the Sea International Photo Competition this year for this photo of mandarinfish:
 
I was a little attached to this photo (see my post from October, below) because it’s been such a long road for me to capture a decent mandarinfish shot, but I wasn’t really sure that it was contest worthy. I guess some other folks liked it as well. Check out the rest of the contest results at Beneath the Sea.

Wonderful photgraph. The colours are amazing. The picture have inspired me for some pottery that I am in the middle of… such colours (always best to use nature for colour schemes!)
