The wild world ..

I had wanted to go to the Galapagos Islands for a long time. A place where *some* protection exists for the wild animals, both below and above the ocean's surface. A place to see where the sharks still roam free. On this trip, we saw sea lions, manta rays, whalesharks, hammerhead sharks, penguins, mola molas, marlin, turtles, pelicans and all manner of land birds. The land excursions were as fascinating as the underwater excursions. The diving was challenging, and the trip was entirely gratifying. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

There is an extended gallery, and a short selects gallery. I would suggest that you start with the selects gallery. There are also two slideshows, streaming video (preferred if you have the bandwidth), as well as one for PC (exe), if you have a lower bandwidth connection. Enjoy!
